Veronaville, Season 2 (Autumn) - Capp II

The Capp girls are a pretty boisterous pair, even with their brother Tybalt gone they’re always getting into playful roughhousing. Juliette tastes are elegant and girly, but she doesn’t exactly have the personality to match!

You can’t see much of it, but I got sick of the Capp Manor and downloaded a lovely makeover by @jodeliejodelie!

“So Puck helped my dye my hair last night… pretty cool, right?”

“Hermia! Why would you do that to yourself?”

“I don’t think it’s so bad…” piped up Juliette.

“Chill out, Granddad! It’s just hair! I thought you liked the Summerdreams?”

“I do, and don’t get me wrong, I’m glad you and that Monty trash broke up, but I’m starting to think they might be a bad influence on you. The late nights, the hair, the ‘art’…”

“Hey, I thought you wanted to be an artist once, too?”

“I did, but part of growing up is putting silly dreams behind you and focusing on what really matters. Money, and family. You’re a Capp, and we have a business and a reputation to maintain. The Summerdreams are lovely people, I’ll admit, but they aren’t like us.” He sighed. “Sometimes, it feels like you don’t even want to be part of this family.”

“Maybe sometimes I don’t.” Hermia replied, flatly.

“Don’t worry about Granddad, he never likes any of our boyfriends.”

“Ugh, he’s such a butthead! Is there a single teenage boy out there I’m going to be allowed to get to date without him flying off the handle?”

“Alexander Goth, maybe?”

“Ew.”

“Hey, he’s kind of cute! In a dorky way. And he’s rich.”

“Julie I love you and all but just no!”

“I thought you liked them weird and wacky. If you got married you could stop just being a goth and be a Goth, capital G!”

Juliette brings Benedick Monty home from her ballet classes. She’s not a fan of Montys in general, but he seems sort of okay. Sweet, even.

And he’s a gracious loser!

“I love you.”
“I know, you tell me all the time!”
“Yeah, because it’s true!”

They paused, smiling at each other, before Hermia spoke.

“I was wondering if you wanted to make it official?”
“Official? As in…?”
“I want everyone to know we’re a couple, I guess.”
“Everyone knows that already, don’t they?”
“Yeah , but…” Hermia hesitated, before coming out and saying it. “I mean I want us to be exclusive. I know we’ve both dated about a bit, and I know it’s not exactly usual in your family, but…”
“Hey, no, it’s okay! I love you and if that’s what you want, that’s what you want. I’m not gonna date other people if it makes you unhappy. One condition, though.”
“Condition…?”

“I’m giving you a makeover!”
“Again??? You already did my hair…”
“I’m crafting you in my image! Come on, upstairs.”
She waggled an eyebrow at Puck, which they ignored. There were more important things to think about, here!

“Sit.” Puck ordered.
“Kinky.”
“Oh my god, shut up! Now let me lend you some of my makeup…”

“…I look ridiculous.”
“No way, you look so good! Anyway you have to keep it, it shows we’re official.”

Hermia rolled her eyes a little, but smiled. Despite their carefree exterior, Puck was a serious sim deep down. For whatever reason, she could tell this meant a lot to them. Must be a fae thing?
