Gameplay Neighbourhoods

There are a lot of different ways to play the Sims 2! Each "neighbourhood" is its own save file, with its own characters, builds, and themes. Some of them also have very different mod setups, or different rulesets to make gameplay more varied and interesting. No matter what neighbourhood I'm playing, I always like weaving my gameplay into some form of a story, and the format of these stories also varies from hood to hood!

You can read all about my different neighbourhoods, how I play them below, and catch up on their stories below.

Hollyhead

A casual, fairytale fantasy Build a City challenge, started in 2017.

Pleasantview Plus

A long running uberhood, started in 2015. Played in seasonal rotations.

Spruceburg

Home to my Prosperity Challenge. Also my first forray into creating videos for YouTube!

Shellcastle Sands

A Miami-inspired beach city, home to the Fiero Legacy. Played with story progression, TS3-style.

Honeycoast

A port town, inspired by Cornwall and Brittany. I plan on playing this neighbourhood Story-Progression style, but it is a work-in-progress at the moment.

Isle of the Midnight Sun

A tropical island, home to shipwrecked Robyn Selkirk. Playing a "Midnight Sun" challenge. On hiatus.

Robin River

A small desert town, home to the community Round Robin Legacy Challenge. My part is complete.

My Builds & Downloads

As well as actually "playing" the game, my other favourite thing to do in the Sims 2 is build! I really enjoy building and renovating lots without using custom content - it adds to the challenge, which can be fun, and makes it easier to share lots. I've also made a couple of completely custom neighbourhoods, with their own storylines, which you can also download and play. Please check these out over at my Downloads page! - which serves kind of like my build "portfolio"!
